Leicestershire County Council Hiring for Learning Development and Delivery Coordinator at Leicestershire Full Time
The Skills for Life curriculum is looking for an experienced English practitioner to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in a vibrant and engaging environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced English teacher or lead practitioner who has the skills, knowledge, and drive to develop their career within the educational sector.
You will work as part of a close team of Learning Development and Delivery Coordinators and be responsible for your own team of English tutors as a line manager.
The successful applicant will develop, coordinate, and deliver a range of learning activities for adults across the county, be responsible for ensuring quality assurance of courses across the curriculum, and work as part of a team to manage, support and develop tutors in their teaching role.
We welcome applications from candidates that have experience within other educational sectors.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should have:
Substantial experience within educational sectors
Experience of delivering and co-ordinating accredited Functional Skills and GCSE English courses
Knowledge of professional teaching and learning best practice
Experience of implementing quality assurance processes
Ability to provide effective line management of delivery staff such as tutors, learning support assistants, and volunteers
Flexibility to travel across sites
