Lehigh Valley Health Network Hiring for Director Talent Acquisition at Allentown, PA Full Time

The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for oversight and operational support of the Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) Team.

The director guides and directs the execution and monitoring of sourcing, screening, and hiring processes that meet legal compliance and recruits and retains the best talent.

Job Duties

• Researches best practices, analyzes trends to support programs/initiatives, and offers suggestions for continuous improvement to ensure staffing needs are consistently met.
• Establishes talent acquisition metrics (vacancy rate, turnover, days to fill, etc.) and ing methods. Distributes quarterly s to key stakeholders.
• Designs, manages, and implements talent acquisition sourcing strategies to ensure effective staffing and retention.
• Creates and manages employment advertising/marketing strategies to attract the best talent for the organization.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and conducts performance evaluations and administers corrective action.
• Audits recruiter processes and monitors recruitment dashboard.
• Develops processes and monitors for compliance to meet all pre-placement requirements (I-9, physical, background checks, etc.).
• Collects and publishes feedback and implements improvement strategies on an annual basis.
• Develops annual workforce plan to support critical hard to fill positions.
• Provides support to ongoing recruitment projects and initiatives, tracking data and providing operational support to cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years experience in recruitment and/or talent acquisition in large healthcare or similar organization and
• 5 years experience in a management role
• Demonstrates a high degree of healthcare knowledge at conceptual levels.
• Knowledge of human resource policies and/or organizational development issues and initiatives.
• Knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems.
• Project management skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• PHR – Professional in Human Resources – HRCI or
• SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources – HRCI

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
