About the Department:

The Model Citizens on our Attractions Team have a passion for roller coasters, fun, and safety. You are responsible for excellent customer service, product knowledge, daily maintenance and security, using proper tools and computer operating systems
Whether you’re operating the rides as an Attractions Operator or checking heights and restraints as an Attractions Host, you’ll spend your day outdoors interacting with children and giving them experiences they’ll cherish forever.

Shifts will fall within the noted availability and does not necessarily mean you will be scheduled for all hours you are available:

• 7 AM – 6 PM
• 12 PM – 9 PM

In this role you will:

• Provide excellent guest service to all our customers
• Ensure guests meet all ride policies and procedure
• Operate or assist with attractions per standard operating procedure
• Daily testing of ride operating systems
• Assist with guest entry and exit off ride
• Maintains daily logs and paperwork
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the attractions by providing verbal safety instructions to guests and enforce rules and regulations
• Other duties, as assigned
• Pay range for this position is $12.50-$13.50 per hour

About You:

• Minimum age for employment for Attractions Host is 16
• Minimum age for employment as Attractions Operator is 18
• Friendly, outgoing personality & well-groomed appearance
• Dependable and Responsible towards our Team and our Guests!
• Must be able to communicate in clear English.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Must have basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Drug and background check may be required
• Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs
• Must communicate effectively in a professional manner with coworkers, supervisors, and park guests
• Ability to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and the functions of the job
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a group setting
