Are you looking for a Senior Tax Accounting role where you’ll be leading global and strategic Tax Accounting input?

We are in the course of expanding our strategic tax department and looking to hire a Senior Manager Tax Accounting for our offices in Billund or London to be part of our global tax advisory team! Come join us!

Core Responsibilities:

• Determining tax positions for the annual consolidated financial statements according to IFRS as well as quarterly internal accounting processes
• Liaising with partners on half year and year end tax reporting & accounting processes for multiple jurisdictions ensuring a smooth and compliant process
• Consolidating and maintaining tax provisions overview on group level including working closely with teams across multiple jurisdictions and group entities
• Developing and maintaining a coordinated process around Effective Tax Rate monitoring and forecasting
• Preparing and overall oversight over BEPS Pillar 2 implications from a tax reporting perspective
• Identifying automation and optimization potential and support implementing of tax accounting related processes
• Acting as point of contact for internal Business Service Operations team, Corporate Finance teams, external auditor and external outsourcing providers on tax accounting matters
• Providing training for internal tax advisory and business service teams

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will be part of the Global Strategic Tax & Customs team that has overall accountability for taxes across the LEGO Group, including customs and other indirect taxes as well as export control. Besides working closely with your team colleagues, you will have close interaction with the central tax process design teams and tax operation & compliance centers in our Business Service Operations team, that is responsible for performing tax compliance and filing tasks. The Corporate Finance team has overall responsibility over accounting and year end filings of the LEGO Group and tax accounting aspects feed into this process. Your purpose is to be the leading Subject Matter Expert on all matters regarding Tax Accounting.

Do you have what it takes?

You are a strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead projects proactively. An outstanding candidate will have the following:

• A tax, law or accounting qualification or relevant university degree is required
• Proven, successful experience in tax accounting; preferably with tax advisory experience
• Solid tax accounting background from a global multinational company, including experience in coordinating multiple partner input across various jurisdictions
• Accounting Firm or Law Firm experience is relevant, in-house experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a dynamic global team and to interact as well as communicate efficiently and remotely with partners including senior levels
• As a member of an international team, there’s an expectation of travel worldwide
• Fluent written & spoken English
