The Talent Organization is made up of Talent Development & Management, Learning, Leadership & Cultural Development, Executive Hiring, and Global Talent Acquisition.

Each area plays a unique and critical role in defining a core arm of the strategy that enables the LEGO Group to attract, retain, and develop talent at all levels and around the world.

The Global Talent Acquisition & Onboarding team is responsible for all Recruitment activity across the LEGO Group, at every level of the organization. This includes Talent Operations, as well as our Talent Acquisition Excellence team – focused on developing and shaping how we go to market to attract, source, identify, onboard and connect outstanding Talent to the LEGO Group’s organizational growth strategy. Our regional Talent Operations teams operate across the LEGO Group’s core Hubs in Northern Europe, EMEA, China, APAC, the Americas, and a specialist team dedicated to supporting our hiring efforts within our Digital & Technology function.

This position can reside in either our Billund, Denmark Headquarters or our London Hub.

Core Responsibilities

• Guardianship of the global approach to talent acquisition, policy, processes and framework and curator of the bio-sphere within.
• You will be accountable for embedding first-class critical thinking and approach around full value chain Recruitment, Talent Attraction & Employer Brand plus Child Safeguarding, Onboarding and DE&I strategies and processes.
• Stewardship of how experience is felt and perceived by both hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process, followed though by fast and supportive pre-hire and onboarding experience.
• Leadership of a large function (c70), responsible for all Talent Acquisition activity within the LEGO Group.
• Encouraging working practices that are balanced with alignment globally across key areas such as HR partnering, Procurement, IT, Business Insights and Reporting, and Shared Services.
• Leading and inspiring the team to outstanding performance, well-rounded influencing skills, and the dedication to gaining followership across a sophisticated agenda and organization is critical.
• Driving a data-first approach to recruitment in which meaningful insights are as important as successful hiring outcomes.
• Conveying the culture of the LEGO Group externally through the creation of thoughtful employer branding and marketing strategy.
• Working with colleagues across the Talent Leadership Team to embed our unique ‘Leadership Playground’ into our recruitment practice. Driving a sophisticated approach to assessment and selection.
• Manage stakeholder relationships internally to tell and maintain a strong narrative around recruitment within the LEGO Group.
• Continually innovate in order to attract and recruit the world’s best talent.
• Proactively and systematically seek inspiration from sources of internal and external methodology, working to make them relevant and practical, globally.
• Support our Digital Transformation through the development of best-in-class recruitment for digital talent.

Do you have what it takes?

• Combined experience across multiple aspects of the Talent agenda, with a majority of experience in Talent Acquisition (attraction, selection, retention, onboarding). Critical to have experience creating and successfully implementing ground-breaking strategies in a global context with regional nuances.
• Compelling leadership style that engages and inspires the broader talent acquisition teams and critical partners by providing the tools, methodologies, process, and leadership, Enabling them to advance the recruitment function.
• Significant leadership experience, including having managed a large and internationally dispersed organization.
• Deep expertise in operationalizing, optimizing and redefining key areas within the talent acquisition field.
• Blend of strategic and forward-thinking approach, with an ability to focus relentlessly on priorities, and systematically deliver extraordinary and sustainable results.
• Must be brave, curious and focused.
• Comfort working cross border with colleagues at every level of the organization to build trust, develop relationships, and lead effectively across multi-cultures and different time zones.
• Experience working with changing priorities and ambiguity is key, alongside navigating sophisticated matrix structures and delivering through others towards a common agenda.
