LEGO Hiring for Finance Director for Sustainability Job at London, England Full Time

The CFO Organisation is looking for its next outstanding team member. This role is passionate about bringing end-to-end strategic and financial leadership to our sustainability strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead overall finance partnering for the LEGO Group’s sustainability strategy, providing finance oversight across our overall sustainability investments to objectively enable the “right bets”
• Set and drive the framework for assessment of the value delivered from our Sustainability initiatives, facilitating trade-off discussions and leading all aspects of progress against key results
• Ensure there is a cohesive, coordinated and aligned finance partnering perspective towards key financial deadlines, i.e. financial planning, investment cases, portfolio prioritisation and internal reporting towards Executive Leadership Team and Board members
• Act as Finance Business Partner for the Corporate Affairs Lead Team, responsible for several key Sustainability workstreams
• Orchestrate a CFO Organisation Sustainability network to enable connections between workstream finance partners, and line of sight to/from the program to other initiatives and the CFO lead team
• Provide people leadership and support to the finance business partners

The team you will be joining partners three Executive Leadership team members and their organisations. The team is based in London and Billund.
We ensure our financial investments are transparent, well governed and are driving strong value outcomes consistent with our LEGO Group strategic priorities. We also play a key leadership role in helping to support the broader digital and sustainability journeys across the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

• A degree is not a prerequisite, but you should be able to demonstrate relevant commercial financial competence.
• Extensive experience working with finance business partnering and/or financial planning and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with good proven track record of being able to develop practical recommendations from financial and data insights
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills
• Direct or indirect leadership experience
• Solid experience in indirect leadership within a sophisticated partner landscape
• Excellent command of the English language.
