Job Summary :

As a Logistics Coordinator at Legend Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth flow of our supply chain operations.

You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing transportation logistics, and optimizing the delivery process to meet customer demands and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and schedule the transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to arrange shipments.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they adhere to schedules and resolve any delays or issues promptly.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs documentation, and export permits.
• Stay up to date with changes in logistics regulations and adapt processes accordingly.
• Seek cost-effective transportation solutions while maintaining service quality.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and logistics partners to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor transportation expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, and production, to align logistics activities with business goals.
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges.
• Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delivery delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.
• Implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurring problems.

Qualifications :

• 2 years proven experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency within ERP systems and Microsoft office suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with international shipping and import / export procedures.
