Job Description

We are hiring a Bookkeeper for musicians, songwriters, and producers. The chosen candidate will play an integral role at Leftbrain.

You will report directly to the CEO and work alongside a team of Senior Accountants and Royalty Coordinators. This role includes both client-facing responsibilities in addition to the normal bookkeeping responsibilities. Being a small and fast-growing company, the scope of your work will be quite broad.

Throughout your projects you’ll receive support from a small, yet experienced team with deep accounting, finance, and music industry experience. This is an opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing company at its beginning stages and learn first-hand from experts in the industry.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Curious, willing to learn, and able to innovate using new knowledge
• Extremely organized and driven self-starter with an attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Superior qualitative and quantitative analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Bookkeeping or Accounting
• QuickBooks Online and Bill.com experience
• Experience in customer service-based industry/position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.23 – $28.85 per hour
