Are you ready for a change? A new challenge where you can make a real difference and grow professionally and personally? Then it could be time for you to join our team.
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a highly committed and motivated team who want to make a difference in Student Support. You will be responsible for leading a team of advisors, ensuring the highest quality of service is received by every student. You will also be responsible for service development including our online advice service. As a team leader you will also play a key part in strategy and team planning.
You will work across our Help and Support service and with a range of support services across campus and external agencies across the city. There will also be great opportunities to be involved in a range of creative and dynamic projects within our Strategic Plan. You will work both within LUU and remotely, depending on the needs of the service.
You will need to have excellent communication, be highly motivated with strong problem solving skills. If this is you, and you would enjoy working in a demanding and fast paced, democratic organisation, we would love to hear from you.
To help us reach out to our diverse student community we would welcome applications from the Black, Asian and Minoritised community and Mandarin speakers.
If you would like an informal chat about the role please contact Andrea Kerslake (0113) 3801421 or email [email protected].
As a student’s union we are closed over the Christmas holiday period and on bank holidays so we have the best hours in the business!
We have great internal training opportunities and we are looking for someone who has a real passion for helping us make sure every student loves their time at Leeds.
We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme.
Please note that your application should state how you meet the criteria listed within the person specification.
If you have any further questions please contact [email protected].
LUU highly values inclusivity and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
