What we’re looking for

Our successful candidate will be joining a vibrant People Team which supports the people activity across our charity organisation. We are a diverse organisation with commercial outlets, student services and support functions who support the work that other teams do to ensure that our students Love their time at Leeds.

You’ll be key in supporting our large scale recruitment activity, managing our two HR digital systems as well as supporting managers with casework based on your extensive employment law knowledge. You’ll also support answering general people service queries and assist the wider aims of the People Team.

It will be key that you have a good grounding in human resource theory and practice which will underpin your work. To be successful in this role you will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work to deadlines.

You’ll be working with a wide range of employees including 400 weekly paid student staff and our 150 career staff so being able to adapt your style to different audiences will be important.
