Job Summary:
As an Administrative Assistant with Summit Helicopters, you will gain experience in an exciting industry and find lots of room for growth in your career!
Joining our team means:
Essential Responsibilities
Completes administrative tasks such as: answering phones, filing, scanning documents, mail collection
Order’s office supplies and equipment; may coordinate computer requests, phone and office moves, and other installations
Provides support to Quality Department with technical manual formatting (word based)
Assists with Accounts Payable and Contractor Payment Process
Provides backup support to bookkeeping and inputs data as required
Assist with inventory counts and order picking
Maintains and updates various contact and distribution lists for the organization
Tidies and maintains reception area/ stores room
Helps to organized company events such as employee celebrations, open houses, and charity events.
Qualifications
1 plus years’ previous experience in a similar reception/customer service role required, experience within the Aviation industry an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and an aptitude for learning various computer systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
