LearnStar Educational After School Programs, is hiring for an Administrative Office Assistant. The job is mostly remote online and from home, but there will be some on site work at the owners home office location for preparing curriculum binders, assisting on site daily duties, etc.
A list of the daily job duties below:
– Assisting HR management with posting job ads in multiple locations/websites.
– Assisting Accounts Receivable with invoicing monthly.
– Correspondence with parents regarding invoicing and receipts.
– Photocopying
– Binder/Curriculum preparation for locations
– Work closely with HR Manager dealing with leave requests and call-in staffing to ensure ratio at all locations.
– Ensure appropriate documentation on file for students at each location. (Registration forms, terms and conditions, etc.)
– Occasional visits to owner’s home office to assist with supplies preparation for shipping to schools, especially at end of August, early September.
– Maintain records (Fired drills, secure school, lockdown drills) and communicate with Superrvisors to ensure deadlines are met with drills.
– Record and track all employees certifications for validity and expiration.
– Maintain social media
– Create and submit required documents as needed. (602-D forms and assist with any other docs or apps as needed, but we cannot list exact docs on job ad)
– Contacting parents to confirm details on registration forms.
– Updating and maintaining electronic flyers and documents
– Possible additional duties as they arise
– Assist management team as needed.
– Take zoom meeting minute
-proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Requires Diploma in Office Administration
Experience with SAGE is considered an asset
Position is work from home
Internet access is required
1-2 years administrative assistant experience is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
