Learning Together Hiring for Lead Special Education Teacher Job at New York State Full Time

Learning Together, in Montgomery NY, is currently seeking a Full Time Instructional Leader – an experienced Teacher who helps to guide and support other classroom teachers in a preschool setting.

The applicant needs to possess a strong working knowledge of Students with Disabilities, IEP’s, Progress Monitoring, and Behavioral Management. The applicant must be familiar with all facets of Preschool Special Education as well as have experience with NYS Preschool Curriculum and its implementation with regards to Lesson Planning.

The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to:

Support a teaching staff in the development and facilitation of exemplary instructional practices in the classroom.

Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in the classroom.

Work collaboratively with Administration, Teachers and Related Service Providers.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to meet timelines.

Possess strong writing/editing skills (Annual Progress Reports, Quarterlies, Report Cards, Parent communications etc.).
