Learn Active Coaching C.I.C (LAC C.I.C) are on the lookout for 2 enthusiastic and experienced mentors to help with our mentoring programmes in secondary schools based in South Birmingham.

The successful candidate must have at least 18 months experience working in a secondary school with children, an enthusiastic personality, be committed to improving standards and raising pupil attainment and able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupil’s. The role entails the ideal candidate to work closely with the pastoral team and to provide support to students who are struggling with behaviour.

Requirements for the role

• DBS certificate
• Level 2 sport or mentoring qualification
• Safeguarding qualification
• Experience working with students aged 11-16
• A good knowledge of the subject curriculum
• Have outstanding communication and come across very approachable
• To be a positive role model in terms of punctuality, organisation, reliability, and behaviour
• Experience within this role

This role is to start ASAP and will run till the end of the academic year, we have both part time and full time roles available.

Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 5-20 per week

Salary: £65.00-£80.00 per day
