We are looking for a highly driven, enthusiastic Software Solutions Specialist to join our rapidly growing company in our UK office (Leeds) or in our Dutch office (Amsterdam).

At Leaning Technologies, we develop world-class WebAssembly solutions that allow software developers and integrators to run any software in the browser.

As a Solutions Specialist in this area, you will combine a deep technical understanding of the solutions we offer and of the technological landscape of HTML5/WebAssembly, with an ability to explain complex solutions simply, and to understand customer requirements.

Responsibilities

You will be working at the intersection of our core technical team and our commercial team.

You will support conversations with prospective clients in the early stages of the conversation, understanding their use case and deep diving into their application to understand how our different offerings would fit best. Once requirements are clear, you will propose solutions, proofs of concepts and projects, working alongside the sales team.

Leveraging your technical skills, you will:

• Become an expert of WebAssembly, and of our specialist solutions
• Complement the sales team providing pre-sales technical leadership.
• Build meaningful relationships with technical decision-makers to understand business and technical requirements, and influence and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Delivering product discovery calls, demonstrations of our solutions and initial analysis of the viability of client application to use with our technology.
• Supporting the marketing team by acting as a technical liaison.

This is an ideal role if you are a personable and affable individual who is interested in the commercial aspect of specialist software, but wishes to maintain a deep technical understanding of complex enterprise-grade technical solutions.

Profile and Qualifications

• A degree in software engineering or computing is ideal. However, we are open to speaking with candidates with good experience in developer or technical product based roles.
• Foundational knowledge of computing: architectures, languages, and the Web environment (HTML5 / JavaScript / WebAssembly).
• A genuine interest in working with highly specialised and modern software solutions.
• Comfortable in communicating with different departments within the company, and with technical and semi-technical audiences (IT teams, PMs, CIOs, CTOs and similar positions).
• Must be a quick learner, proactive and happy to be “hands-on”, particularly in the first months.

Job Type

We have openings available in our Leeds, UK office, and in our Amsterdam, Netherlands office. We are open to flexible arrangements including work-from-home and hybrid work.
