Residential Manager

Leaders in Care are currently looking for a residential children’s home manager for various homes within a specialist provider. Building upon the success of their current services, they are opening new residential homes and schools to further their outreach and support for vulnerable children.

The current residential managers have a reputation for leading by best practice; ensuring 1:1 support for staff and ensuring a continuity of delivery that has been the foundation of their reputation. Due to a wide base of operations you will have strong links with schools, their bespoke tutor-led home education program, along with a transitions service who support post-18s to ensure care continues at the ‘end of care’.

They are only small homes, meaning the focus is on truly on the child meaning you will be making a personal impact on the children within the care of your home.

You will need a background in a managerial/residential setting for those with potentially challenging behaviours, and will need the relevant qualifications (eg. NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People’s Services)
