We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Finance Assistant to join our team based in Pool in Wharfedale, Leeds. We are offering a competitive salary up to to £25,000 depending on experience plus an annual bonus based on company performance.

Role Summary

• The focus for our finance assistant is to contribute to the delivery of financial reporting and insights, helping to improve the growth, profitability and controls of the business
• Success in this role is based on a continuous accounting approach to ensure the financial information is accurate every day in order to provide a clear financial path for a fast paced business
• A successful finance assistant will see technology as the essential enabler in collating financial data and insights in an accurate, consistent and timely manner.

The Role

• Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and reports to meet the needs of the business, business owners and leadership team.
• Take responsibility for the day to day finance operations including sales reporting, invoicing and credit control.
• Manage purchase ledger duties include processing and payment of supplier bills.
• Critical analysis of cost centres to ensure variances from finance models are diligently recorded
• Ad hoc duties such as assisting with monthly payroll and managing office supplies.

• Experience using Xero/cloud platform systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
