Lead Analyst- Decarbonization, GHG Accounting & Life Cycle Assessment Full Time

Qualifications:

•  Master’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or allied disciplines from a reputed university and institute

•  Bachelor’s in chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering is preferable

Experience:

•  3–7 years of hands-on experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), GHG accounting, and corporate decarbonization strategy in a management consulting environment

•  Demonstrated experience executing LCAs using SimaPro (mandatory); proficiency in openLCA or GaBi is an added advantage

•  Experience conducting cradle-to-gate, cradle-to-grave, and cradle-to-cradle LCAs per ISO 14040 and ISO 14044

•  Proficiency in enterprise-wide GHG Inventorization (Scope 1, 2, 3) per GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1:2018

•  Working knowledge of sustainability disclosure frameworks: GRI Standards, TCFD, CDP, BRSR, CSRD/ESRS, and ISSB/IFRS S2

•  Experience supporting Science-Based Target (SBT) setting and monitoring per SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard

•  Familiarity with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)

At minimum, experience in 2 LCA studies using SimaPro and 2 corporate GHG inventories (including Scope 3) will be the minimum threshold for consideration.

•  Training / Certification in LCA, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, GRI, or CDP will be desirable

Technical Skills

•  SimaPro (mandatory); openLCA / GaBi (desirable)

•  GHG Protocol & ISO 14064 Scope 1, 2, 3 Inventorization

•  Decarbonization strategy & SBTi alignment

•  Sustainability reporting (GRI, TCFD, CDP, BRSR, CSRD/ESRS, IFRS S2)

•  Data analytics tools: MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau (desirable)

•  Good at writing technical reports

•  Well conversant with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
