LCG Freight Inc, a premier intermodal transportation company providing trucking/drayage services throughout the Southeast, is seeking a Intermodal Billing Coordinator to help support intermodal operations in our Charleston SC location.
This is an entry level position. Willing to train the right candidate. Requires a can-do approach towards everything you work on and often requires you to take initiative on various tasks. Must work well with team but also be able to complete tasks individually, as needed.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist Dispatch with entering new customer orders into the database
· Calculating charges to customers & clients
· Ensure all documentation for each load is properly uploaded to database after completion
· Preparation of Customer Invoices
· Timely escalation to Invoicing Supervisor when necessary
· Answer any Customer questions regarding invoices or statements
· Setup new Customers in database
· Maintain direct and indirect communications with customers as needed
· Work with Accounting department regarding past due accounts
· Answer phone calls and assist with directing customers to correct team member for answers
· Other misc duties as assigned by Management
KEY SKILLS:
Experience in logistics and/or intermodal transportation is a plus. Ability to work efficiently on computers and with spreadsheets. Customer service skills must be exceptional. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Strong attention to details necessary.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
LOCATION: Summerville, SC
PAY: Salary $38,000 – $45,000 per year (based on experience)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm
EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED (Required)
· Customer Service: 2-3 years (Preferred)
· Billing: 1-2 years (Preferred)
