Accounting / Payroll position

A well-established, 30 year old CPA firm in Missoula has an opening in the service department for an experienced bookkeeper. Their work includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card and bank reconciliations and payroll processing for a variety of small business clients. The department handles a significant amount of payroll-related work including tax depositing and reporting, benefits administration and human resources compliance. This position is an expansion of the department due to continued growth.

The ideal candidate will possess an interest in the systems affecting a client’s overall business success and be familiar with QuickBooks. The newest technology is provided to improve stability and efficiency. The position requires an ability to multi-task and work independently with an attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have payroll and small business accounting experience.
