LBC Studios Hiring for QA Analyst at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Why this role is made for you:
The QA Analyst is an entry-level but key member of our internal testing team at LBC Studios. Our QA team is respected and influential at LBC Studios, acting as the gateway for our work effort to the live game environment. The QA Analyst ensures that bugs are found, confirmed, and communicated in a timely manner, minimizing the impact on our live products. The successful candidate will be required to work independently but will need to be responsible and communicative with team members across the team.

This is a full-time, remote position.

A QA Analyst’s impact:
Working with design, development, marketing, and customer-service teams, through end-to-end test planning and execution on LBC Studios’ products

Create and run test plans for the product, and work with the development team to update them as needed

Participate in team meetings, as required

Test and track bugs in JIRA, and additional priority testing as required

Document and update processes in Confluence

Facilitate resolution of project-impacting issues that require intervention

Create QA test plan scripts as requested

Other duties as assigned

Your track record includes:
Understanding of game design, and/or experience with game design including tools

Technical aptitude for data sets, spreadsheets, game development tools

Top-tier personal accountability and drive

6 months of team-based QA experience an asset

Experience with bug-tracking software an asset

Experience with mobile games and devices an asset

Online testing experience an asset

Mobile testing experience an asset
