An experienced Legal Finance Manager is sought for a legal aid law firm with offices in London and Brighton. This is a rare opportunity for a driven Finance Manager to join an expanding legal aid practice.
The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring firm’s cashflow is maximized by timely billing, client transfers and reduction and monitoring of expenditure
– Client accounts
– Month-end procedures
– Reconciling nominal and VAT accounts
– Payroll matters and processing salary payments
– Administration of pension scheme
– Credit control
– Purchase ledger
– Reporting to the Director with financial information
Candidates will have at least 2 years Legal Aid financial experience and be able to use Leap Case Management System. They will possess a recognised accounting qualification and be IT proficient.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
