This Research Analyst role will ideally suit someone with a few years of related experience.

The key responsibilities for this role are to produce high-quality advice and research relating to liquid alternatives such as Hedge Funds, Alternative risk premia, trend following, global macro, merger arbitrage, multi-strategy, insurance linked securities.

Role Overview

• Fund Manager research focused on Hedge Funds and Altenative Investment Managers
• Investment research, being an active participant in the alternatives manager and strategy research process, including the manager review and rating process
• Quantiatative analysis and modeling
• Compiling and completing research papers and/or projects
• Work as part of a team contributing to idea development.

Desirable Skills

• Strong quantitative skills as evidenced by qualifications, programming experience, or extensive modelling experience
• Familiarity with Hedge Fund Managers
• General research skills gained through academic studies or practical experience demonstrating the ability to collect evidence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
• Experience in liquid alternatives gained within funds management, trading, consulting, market or investment risk management.
