Law Staff Limited Hiring for Senior Legal Cashier & Office Manager at Romford Full Time

Do you have the necessary skills and experience to take on a role in accounts, with a particular focus on processing of travel and other expenses and purchase ledger system and managing SRA Audits and compliance procedures?Law Staff are delighted to be instructed by this well known Law Firm to recruit an experienced and capable Senior Legal Cashier to also assist with Office Manager duties.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier professional to join their team in a full-time permanent role, and are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.

The ideal candidate will have a absolute minimum of two years’ experience in LEAP Case Management Software and Xero accounting, as well as a clear and full understanding of SRA accounting principles. You will also have the ability to manage a team of staff, and good communication and people skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of tasks, including the processing of travel and other expenses and purchase ledger system, supervising and managing our annual SRA Audit and Lexcel inspections, supervising, file closing and aged client balances, and ensuring client receipts and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be required to ensure full compliance with the SRA accounts rules and dealing with residual balances and client closures, manage the client to office transfers in line with the SRA Accounts Rules, ensure all policies and procedures are documented and kept up to date, and to Directors and provide s as required for the everyday function of the practice.
