Laurel Parc at Bethany Village Hiring for Director of Sales and Marketing Full Time

Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community located in the charming Bethany Village neighborhood just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a talented and personable Director of Sales and Marketing to join and manage our Leasing team. This position will to the Executive Director and oversee community sales and marketing efforts by building relationships with prospective residents, performing community outreach, and helping to ensure consistent budgeted occupancy levels, as well as a positive and inviting experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments and conducts a minimum of 20 sales calls per week with potential residents who have not yet contacted the community, current referral sources, and new potential referral sources. The marketing call should include asking for resident referrals, and for other potential referral sources that may refer residents.
• Receives and effectively processes inquiry calls for potential residents. Schedules follow up appointments and/or calls for potential residents to further the move-in process effectively and efficiently.
• Implements effective potential resident back up inquiry team 24/7.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the quarterly competitive analysis.
• Follows up on all inquiries received by other employees within ONE hour.
• Completes the minimum required activity tracking points weekly.
• Achieves appropriate amount of traffic with tours, deposits and move-ins to keep community at budgeted occupancy levels.
• Maintains an appropriate and current lead base for prospective residents.
• Maintains a current lead to provide effective communication for ED, department managers weekly.
• Effectively orients, trains and provides ongoing marketing and sales support to other department managers.
• Plans effective advertising around events and main key senior resource guides for local markets.
• Participates in written copy and graphic design for the Communitys publications, newsletters, marketing brochures, tri-folds, flyers, newspaper/magazine/radio/television advertisements, news releases, public service announcements, and on-hold messaging as requested.
• Moves in new residents efficiently and timely. Completes new resident paper work and effectively serves as the move-in counselor for new residents.
• Partners with local media for free publicity whenever possible. Maintains active file of all news related articles pertaining to community.
• Reviews project invoices for community outreach/marketing/PR items and forward to appropriate person for approval.
• 60% of role to be inside sales; 40% of role performing outreach in community. This may change based on occupancy needs of community
• Determines Top 10 Leads

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years previous related experience in senior housing with a proven history of success.
• Strong ability to develop appropriate sales relationship with potential clients quickly and be a great listener.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize projects and objectives while meeting deadlines.
• Possess an upbeat, positive, flexible and enthusiastic personality.
• Professional in dress and presentation.
• Conceptual thinker who is highly creative.
• Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe. Experience in Yardi CRM preferred.
