Preschool Teacher

Launch Pad Learning is now seeking a full-time teacher for our infant, toddler, and 3 YO classroom; someone who is flexible, creative, and willing to help. We are looking for a fully qualified teacher (with 12 ECE/CD units).

Job Type: Full-time preschool Teacher (40 hours/week).

Bi-weekly pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on qualifications, state permit, and experience)

Responsibilities:

– Engage children in age-appropriate activities following our play-based curriculum with plenty of flexibility to be creative

– Create arts and crafts projects designed to introduce shapes, colors and other early learning skills

– Implement activities using music, dance, and storytelling

– Maintain safe, loving, and fun classroom environment

– Regular written and photo communication with parents (via iPad) to share children’s progress.

– Documentation of food program

– Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate must have at least 12 ECE’s; infant/toddler teachers should have at least one infant class, a CD Permit (optional), Infant CPR/First Aid certification (optional), and must be able to pass an FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Index clearance. Bi-lingual communication capability and college degree(s) are a plus!

COVID-19 considerations:

New hires are required to have at least one COVID-19 vaccination shot prior to employment. Per state licensing requirements all staff are required to 1) record/log their temperature at the beginning of the work day, 2) be sent home immediately if they become sick during the day.
