Job Type: Full-time Preschool Director (40 hours/week)

Bi-weekly pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on qualifications, state permits and experience)

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

– Ensure compliance with Title 22 in all classrooms.

– Manage and supervise 10 – 15 teachers and staff.

– Ensure compliance with teaching objectives in all classrooms.

– Manage client interactions to maximize retention.

– Conduct tours for prospective clients.

– Manage regular written and photo communication with parents (via iPad) to share children’s progress.

– Manage food program to ensure compliance with state and federal Food Program requirements.

– Manage staff and clients to maximize California State Preschool Program contract fulfillment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree minimum, CD Permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and must be able to pass an FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Index clearance. Bi-lingual communication capability and advanced college degree(s) are a plus!

COVID-19 considerations:

New hires are required to have at least one COVID-19 vaccination shot prior to employment. Per state licensing requirements all staff are required to 1) record/log their temperature at the beginning of the work day, 2) wear a mask at all times in the workplace (except while eating or drinking) and 3) be sent home immediately if they become sick during the day.

We require that all staff wear a face mask and we have a temperature check each morning. Children are isolated and sent home when they get sick at school. Sanitation and disinfecting are essential parts of the daily routine.
