Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Mental Health Clinician to join the Education and Training Unit team on a Fixed term (12 months) on a Full Time Basis.
Reporting operationally to the Manager of the Education and Training Unit and professionally to the Psychiatric Nurse Consultant and the Chief Mental Health Nurse, this role plays an important role in supporting LRH units in managing patients identified with behaviours of concerns and interventions to work with staff and patients to promote contemporary evidence-based practice at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
The successful applicant will:
Provide consultation and assist the treating teams in decreasing BOC by reviewing management strategies that may require adjustment.
Work with ETU and governance to plan, implement and evaluate education programs and policy relating to Behaviours of Concern and their management.
To promote a culture/environment of continuous learning and/or evidence based practice
