Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for Contact Tracers to join the Public Health Unit team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager this role plays an important role in COVID-19 Contact Tracing Unit at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

The successful applicant will:

• Undertake disease notification follow-up, mainly through telephone interviews, which includes undertaking investigations, ensuring the implementation of public health action according to protocols and making recommendations for further action under the guidance and supervision of the Public Health Officers and Team leads.
• Must be able to partiicpate in a standby roster as the workload may often be at short notice and across 7 days
