Lasting Adventures Hiring for Adventure Consultant at California Full Time

Under moderate supervision, the Adventure Consultant position is responsible for being the first point of contact with potential and returning customers to Lasting Adventures. The Adventure Consultant provides exceptional customer support and answers customer queries related to all experiences we provide, and helps clients throughout the booking process. The Adventure Consultant will also be the primary point of contact for any client questions/concerns between the booking process and the date of their adventure. With support from our Operations Manager and Executive Director, the Adventure Consultant will create trip rosters, collect pre-trip paperwork, and administer pre- and post- trip communications with customers. The Adventure Consultant will be a key member of our Administrative Team and will work to support an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

• Performs program registrations/enrollments and tracking and reporting of program participants.
• Responds to incoming customer emails and calls in a time-efficient manner.
• Assists with client sales by answering specific questions/concerns with Lasting Adventures programs.
• Creates, updates, and maintains rosters, client/participant paperwork, and other computerized and paper records pertaining to our programs.
• Handles billing, payment plans, refunds, and collections within our booking system, Xola.
• Helps to create emails for confirmations, camp paperwork (i.e. required client paperwork), and required and urgent email blasts. 
• Monitors enrollment numbers to ensure minimum group sizes are met and to prevent overbookings.
• Facilitates communications between campers, parents, clients, and staff to address concerns relative to camp and/or program activities.
• Maintain and review records and reports, complete annual evaluations and recommendations for future operations.
• Able to handle multiple tasks, occasionally working independently, while problem solving and utilizing effective time management skills.
• Assists in the coordination of staff events and scheduling.
• Assists in operational logistics under the Operations Manager and/or Executive Director.
• Assists with pre-season preparation and post-season shut down.
• Maintains continued open communication with the Executive Director, Operations Manager, Program Managers, and other Administrative staff and general staff.
• As part of the Lasting Adventures Admin team, assists in recruiting, training, supporting, and evaluating staff.
• Participates in weekly, monthly, and annual team/department/company meetings.
• Must be flexible and adaptable. During the months of June-August, the schedule may include weekend days and evening hours. Flex time for September-May is available when approved in advance.
• Assists with field work and may be required to guide trips on occasion.
