Laser Facility Management Hiring for Facilities Billing Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

We are seeking a Billing Specialist to assist and provide support to our Billing and Accounting teams in processing invoices for our sub-contractors and creating client invoices in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

As a Billing Specialist, you will be required to perform the following tasks at the highest level:

• Enter, and submit all vendor invoices within 48 hours of receipt.
• Review and reply with detailed notes to all statements within 48 hours of receipt.
• Take lead on inbound billing department calls.
• Take lead in contacting our sub-contractors to get invoices in a timely manner.
• Assist with urgent credit card payment requests from Operations.
• Assist with paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, etc.
• Create client invoices per clients billing guidelines and submit per company guidelines.
• Follow up on aging invoices.
• Deliver exceptional service to our vendors, and assist in the creation/building of our vendor partnerships. Our vendors are very important to our business.
• Partner with Operations to resolve invoice disputes.

Qualifications:

• Prior national facility management billing experience is strongly encouraged! Compensation tied to prior experience.
• High level attention to detail.
• Stellar problem-solving skills.
• Love being on the phone, and interacting with people. Comfortable with a high volume of calls.
• Construction/trade knowledge is desirable, must be willing to learn!
• Willing to roll the sleeves up, and do whatever it takes to ensure complete vendor/customer satisfaction.
• High level of humility.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, PDF’s, etc.
• Must be able to work in an office environment, or remotely.
