Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Excellent communication skills oral and written

• Positive interpersonal skills

• Teach assigned JH & HS Business Ed courses

• Instruct classroom and laboratory classes according to State

Content Standards.

• Design and implement real world applications for Business

Education students.

• Planning for and guiding the learning process to help students achieve program objectives

• Recruit students into the Business Education courses and the

FBLA Chapter.

• Ensure that a safe learning environment exists for all students.

• Coordinate educational events and activities with academic teachers.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Directly Responsible To: JR/SR Principal

Qualifications: Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education or Business from an accredited college or university

• A valid CO Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one, including CTE endorsement is preferred

Work Year/Work Schedule

• 2022-23 school year

• 165 day teaching contract

• 4 day week school

Salary Range: $33,000 to $47,000

• plus summer supervision

Start Date: Aug 1, 2022
