Youth Mentor- Primary School

Are you looking for a new challenge in the education sector? If you are an experienced Youth Mentor who would love to work in a friendly and supportive classroom, this could be the right role for you.

The primary school is looking to recruit an experienced Youth Mentor on a long-term contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students alongside the class teacher and two support staff.
  • Designing care plans that best suit the students’ needs.
  • Providing emotional support by talking to students about their needs and listening to their concerns.

To apply for this role you must have:
  • An enhanced child DBS.
  • Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
  • Experience as a support worker.
  • Willingness to learn.
