An Education Development Specialist is a unique position within L’ANZA Healing Haircare; an invaluable hybrid between sales and education. By travelling all across the nation, you not only get to support the L’ANZA sales team, but also the salons. It is a position that requires great self-starting skills, business-gaining gusto, strong organization, adaptability and creativity. An EDS is one of the best resources for our L’ANZA tribe to utilize to increase education and awareness as well as sales and profitability for both the company and the stylists they come in contact with. Get your bags packed, expect 75% travel as a L’ANZA EDS!

Geography: Nationwide; following SalonCentric business territory

Days Committed: 12 days/month travel

Start Date: October 1, 2021

Specific Responsibilities

• Engage with Passion- you are the face of L’ANZA and responsible for creating a warm and inspirational environment where stylists are inspired and want to be a part of the L’ANZA tribe.
• Share Your Knowledge- Maintain an attitude of learning and sharing your knowledge with everyone who walks through the door. Stay up to date on beauty trends, new products, and continuously expand your industry knowledge.
• Drive Sales- You support the Brand Consultant and BDM in increasing sales and profitability by engaging in the day to day business, suggesting product add-ons, and acting on opportunities to increase sales.
• Control Profitability- Help with expense management, logistics, use of resources, and controlling costs.

· Facilitate color conversions, support classes/trainings in salons recently converted to L’ANZA Healing Color and/or Haircare.

· Facilitate classes, trainings, and demos at distributor stores.

· Detail with Salon Sales Consultants, assisting with encouraging salon conversions.

· Shadow and mentor current Healing Artists as requested by key contact or BDM. Identify and recruit future Healing Artists.

· Assist with shows as requested by key contact or BDM.

· Participate in distributor sales meetings as necessary to provide on-going technical training and support planning.

· Regularly attend mandatory corporate trainings and updates for verbiage, technique, product usage, and conveys the key learnings with Healing Artists and Distributor partners.

· Responsible for knowledge of corporate philosophy, history, retail product, color, current promotions, and salon opening offers.

· Absolutely love travel and have high levels of resiliency for all that travel can bring.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
