This assignment is for in-person English classes. Language Connections is looking for a creative, engaging, talented and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor for our corporate classes in West Valley City, UT 84119 for part-time employment starting on Aug 22, 2022, for afternoon teaching assignments.

SCHEDULE: Wednesday’s 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM & Saturday’s 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

LOCATION: West Valley City, UT 84119

LEVEL: Beginner 1

STARTING DATE: Aug 22, 2022

Skills and requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree;

– TEFL/TESOL Certificate;

– fluent English speaker;

– minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience;

– strong communication and organizational abilities;

– detail-oriented, creative, dynamic, patient, and positive;

– familiar with different language teaching methods and ESL textbooks;

– familiar with MS Word and MS Excel

– fluent Spanish speaker (preferred, but not required);

– experience living abroad and learning a second language is a plus

Main responsibilities:

– Teach ESL classes and monitor students’ progress;

– Submit regular progress reports in MS Word or MS Excel ;

– Prepare classes and implement lesson plans;

– Assign and correct homework and tests;

– Assist in the process of curriculum review and development
