Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is a global hotel company with properties located in major cities and four continents under The Langham Hotels and Resorts and Cordis Hotels and Resorts brands. It is the hospitality arm of Great Eagle Holdings, a leading property development company in Hong Kong.
Located in our Hong Kong headquarters, this opportunity is an important part of a dynamic Corporate Finance team to assist with business planning & performances tracking. Reporting to the Financial Analyst, you will assist with dashboards development and tracking in order to provide sound foundations for management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations on business processes’ data and reporting
• Develop process to communicate project results and performance tracking on a timely basis (daily, weekly & monthly)
• Prepare regular performance reports for useful business insights
• Create dashboards, reports and presentations with use of Business Intelligence tools / Tableau to facilitate management decisions
• Work with IT to assure data warehousing and provide continuous feedback on appropriate enhancement to cope with changing business needs
• Conduct business performance analysis and provide timely feedback to management
• Conduct variance analysis on financial performance of business units based on daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Liaise with worldwide hotels on details of variations and report on exceptions
• Assist with quarterly, interim and yearend reporting
• Assist with annual financial budgeting and planning process
• Support ad-hoc projects/tasks as required

Requirement

.

• Tertiary education majoring in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years Data warehouse and BI platform/Tableau experience preferred. Exposure on Financial Analysis would be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience working with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) or web application technologies
• Experience in data analytics design and segmentation. Proficiency in relational databases and data integration tools
• Knowledge of Accounting software e.g. SUN Accounts/Vision will be highly advantageous
• Prior experience in hospitality industry preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
• Self-motivated and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand technical requirements and map to implementation
• Good communication skills with ability to interact with multiple levels of stakeholders
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantone & Mandarin)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Legally authorized to work in Hong Kong SAR
