POSITION SUMMARY
Lane Office, a leading New York based office furniture dealer and interior subcontracting firm, is growing and seeks a marketing professional to work closely with management. He/She will be responsible for handling all marketing, social media and events efforts and initiatives. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for evaluating and recommending marketing ideas, planning and coordinating their efforts, communicating marketing plans and building brand awareness for our company and our product offerings. You will work closely with our sales department to ensure your efforts align with their sales strategies to help maximize revenues, profits and market share. In this role you will also champion our social media efforts and administer the company’s online strategies while also handling our website content. Finally, you will be the point person for company events, conferences, trade shows and attend industry functions.
To be considered for this position, you will need a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications. Desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and take ownership of your work are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and champion all marketing efforts.
- Evaluate, plan, develop and coordinate new marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Communicate marketing plan and strategy company-wide.
- Research competitive marketing initiatives.
- Help identify potential new clients.
- Develop all marketing collateral to help generate new business.
- Assist in communicating our product offerings to the market.
- Develop company-wide positioning statement.
- Increase brand awareness and online reputation.
- Initiate and oversee all social media marketing strategies.
- Organize all company conferences, trade shows and industry events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
- Effective time management skills, the ability to multitask and the desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Attention to detail and a ‘will do’ attitude.
- Proactive and professional work ethic.
- Excellence in interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with digital marketing efforts such as social media marketing and content marketing.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
