We are hiring a Corporate Manager of Clinical Education who, under the guidance of the Corporate Director of Clinical Operations and Education, will assess, plan, develop, implement, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing and non-nursing personnel as indicated and requested throughout the Landmark five facilities and adult day health program. The incumbent must be a Registered Nurse (RN) that acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing personnel.

Some of the job responsibilities of the Corporate Manager of Clinical Education include:

• Leads and oversees onsite center training activities including preparing materials for participation- including Power Point Presentations, learning activities, etc.
• Provides consultation to center leadership to enhance continuing education development opportunities and mentorship opportunities. ·
• Assists in the development of staff preceptors to enhance the orientation and on-boarding process, and the retention of staff.
• Oversees assigned centers annual competency fairs ensuring that materials are current and readily available to participants.
• Completes required clinical competencies for licensed nurses and nursing assistants within 90 days of hire.
• Assists centers in facilitating trainings outside the facility such as IV training, Advanced IV training, wound care and other identified vendor provided trainings.
• Supports and implements educational programming for new or changing programs of care.

• Participates in quality assurance / quality improvement activities by evaluating outcomes of clinical education programs and utilizes findings for improvement.

• Engages with local academic institutions promoting the center’s clinical environment as a learning environment and assists with procuring student contracts.
• Consults with local academic institutions and acts as a liaison and advisor.

Education and Experience of the Corporate Manager of Clinical Education:

• Graduate from an Accredited Registered Nurse Program. Active licensure is required. B.S.N. Preferred
• Certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist is desirable.
• Certification as an Infection Preventionist is desirable.
• 3 years’ experience preferred in a long-term care center preferred.
• Previous experience in Staff Development/Staff Education required.

• Must have significant computer proficiency in both Excel and Word.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to identify areas a health care team may need training and deciding how to best present the information.
• Problem-Solving: Having excellent problem-solving skills gives the Corporate Manager of Clinical Education the ability to figure out how to professionals best learn certain information.
• Communication: Written and oral communication skills help the Corporate Manager of Clinical Education convey the material they are teaching to health care staff effectively.
• Patient Care: Understanding and having experience working in patient care is beneficial for the Corporate Manager of Clinical Education since it allows for them to share expertise with other health care staff. ·
• Organization: The Corporate Manager of Clinical Education uses organizational skills to help them design curriculum for training sessions and prioritize which topics are covered.
