Warehouse Operator

SHIFT: 3rd Shift 10pm – 6:30am Sunday – Friday

PAY: $20.85 + Dollar shift differential for 3rd shift

SUMMARY:

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be a valued team member who will perform tasks essential to our operation in the warehouse at the feed mill. You will work with a dynamic manufacturing team to meet the customer needs and ship out products safely, with the upmost quality and attention to detail. You will be trained to perform a variety of warehouse operations: coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, pack and load product using a forklift, organize storage areas, assist with cycle counts, move trailers, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Basic computer skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Age: 18 years or older
•

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
