Lancaster Medical School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic administrator with excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will join a resourceful and supportive Admissions Team that administers all stages of the high-stakes processes that recruit students to our Medicine programme. In addition, you will work closely with the Academic Lead for Widening Participation to administer systems targeted at broadening assess to studying medicine.
To fulfil the requirements of this post, you must possess excellent organisational skills and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with a keen eye for detail. At different points of the academic year, the admissions cycle is very busy so you must possess a calm, flexible approach to your work. You must be a proven team player and communicator, and committed to integrating into a busy and highly pressured office environment, working with a wide range of colleagues.

The post requires some working outside of normal office hours and peak busy times of the year run from mid-January to the start of March and mid-August.
