Lambton Conveyor Ltd. Hiring for General Labourer at Wallaceburg, ON Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Operating equipment such as sheet metal shears, press brakes, turret punch presses, CNC punch machines, and laser cutting machines
• Use power hand tools such as drills, angle grinders, and impact wrenches
• Operate industrial material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts
• Sort, label and package material and products
• Perform daily machine checks
• Stand for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work shift work
• May be required to work overtime
• Practice excellent housekeeping

Qualifications:

• General manufacturing experience
• Welding experience would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders
• Physically fit to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read a tape measure, count and do simple math calculations
• Keen attention to detail
• Good listening and communication skills
• Safety-conscious
• Ability to adapt to changing working conditions
• Capable of working independently with little supervision
• Must own CSA approved safety shoes
