Responsibilities include: oProviding individualized academic, social, and emotional supportsoPlanning and implementing whole group, small group, and individualized instructionoWorking collaboratively with school- and community-based counselors, teachers, administrators, and parents in developing and maintaining the overall educational plan for studentsoPreparing standards-based lesson and unit plans to correlate with student academic needs oKeeping accurate documentation regarding student progress, needs, strengths, etc. (i.e., grades, observations, anecdotal records, other related data)oOrganize community service projectsoCreate hands-on projects to meet standardsoCreating program scheduleoWorking with Guidance Department to create student schedulesoServing on various teams & committees as needed oMaintain regular communication with students homes
