Laine Pub Company Hiring for Finance Manager Job at London, England Full Time

Finance Manager

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)

Starting date: ASAP

Hours per week: 37.5

Schedule: Mon-Fri can be flexible, office working required minimum 1 day per week with ability to remotely work

Key Responsibilities:

• Production and completion of the month end Management Accounts to tight deadlines.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
• To keep accurate records of any adjustments made
• Work closely with the Brewery sales and production team, assisting with invoicing, reviewing stock controls and stock takes.
• Work closely with the Accounts payable team and suppliers helping with queries as required.
• Compare and analyse variance to budget, providing detailed breakdowns of any information required
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
• Assist with the day to day running of the finance function, developing, and improving reporting to keep pace with business growth and diversification
• Assist with the year end Audit.
• Any other ad-hoc roles that arise from the Group Financial Controller.

Essential Technical Competencies/Professional expertise :

• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of AP and AR
• Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Nav beneficial
