Overview:
The customer care representative is responsible for the order management process, optimization and scheduling of customer orders. The candidate is responsible for answering the call switchboard and ensuring that there is accurate and efficient service from time of order to time of delivery.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Lafarge safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for customer order taking and order confirmations (implementation of Customer Care Core Values)
- Responsible for scheduling, tracking and optimizing customer orders utilizing city and rural plants with focus on green zoning and production capabilities
- Some pricing quotations, volumetric calculations and payment processing
- Ensure Lafarge Brand is recognized in market through Value Added Product recommendations
- Responsible for tracking and escalating any customer complaints
Relationships with Others:
- Close interaction with dispatch, plant personnel, quality control and sales
- Reports to Logistics Supervisor

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that include the capacity to work well within teams
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education preferred
- Experience in construction industry an asset
