Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Sales Specialist to join our Sales team based in Ontario, Canada.
Position Overview:
The Sales Specialist’s responsibility will be to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory. They will aim to shorten sales cycle for key target accounts and maximize revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel.
Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how their needs could be met by our products.
Answers customers’ questions about products, and product uses.
Emphasizes product features based on analysis of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Collaborates with colleagues to exchange information on items such as selling strategies, and marketing information.
Conducts follow-up customer visits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and to assist in customer and employee training to operate and maintain new equipment, when necessary.
Attends conferences to meet customers and discuss new product developments.
Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
Achieves sales goals.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have 3-5 years medical device or diagnostic sales experience in the medical devise industry; OBGYN experience preferred.
Demonstrate past ability to successfully manage, maintain, and grow a territory. Also to manage, maintain, and grow hospital accounts, including group purchasing organizations.
Be self-motivated, a self-starter, and should understand a sense of urgency.
Proficient with a computer (salesforce.com or other CRM experience a plus).
Posses excellent communication skills, including interpersonal communications.
Own a valid Drivers License.
Maintain advanced presentation and negotiation skills, strong ability to spot business opportunities, and ability to influence and persuade others.
Capacity to work independently with a high level of time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or background in nursing or midwifery favorable.
