Labcorp Hiring for Study Technician – Animal Operations- 2ND Shift Full Time

How you will be rewarded!

Working in Madison, WI our Study Technicians:


  • Earn a starting hourly rate of $23.00 (plus 9% shift differential)

  • Receive a sign-on bonus of $4000 (after 60 days)!
  • Work 2nd shift rotating weekends, holidays and overtime with supplementary compensation
  • Must be able to complete 14 weeks of training on first shift (6:30am- 3:15pm). Then will move to second shift with a start time of least 10:00am or later.
  • Enjoy 24 days of personal-time-off (PTO) (pro-rated depending on start date)

What you will be doing:

As a Study Technician you’ll apply your scientific curiosity in researching the effectiveness, safety and toxicity of drugs in early development animal research studies.

  • Maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare in accordance with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC).
  • Handling and restraining animals
  • Administering test items
  • Collecting biological samples
  • Performing clinical observations
  • Collecting and reviewing data in accordance with the Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLP) and standard operating procedures
  • Organizing study related activities and data
  • Working in a fast paced, team environment


Education

  • Bachelor degree in Life Sciences
  • Associate degree in Laboratory Animal Technology, Veterinary Technology, or in Histology


Experience

  • No experience is required with a Bachelor Degree
  • 6 months to 2 years of related experience with an Associate degree
