La Diperie Chestermere is looking for ICE CREAM SCOOPER to join our team in Chestermere, AB.

ICE CREAM MAKER QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to follow all company safety rules and policies
• Maintain a positive attitude and work with all team members to achieve company goals and objectives
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Work in a safe manner by complying with all food handling safety regulations
• Complete all daily tasks assigned by your supervisor or manager
• Complete other duties as assigned by your manager or owner

ICE CREAM MAKER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scoop ice cream and serve it to customers in a timely and friendly manner

Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the store and equipment

Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment

Learn about our products to answer customer questions and provide recommendations

Operate cash register and handle money accurately

Assist with other duties as needed
·Prepares and cooks food according to recipe, using basic tools and equipment, while following company recipes, procedures, and standards.
·Follows all food safety procedures, including washing and sanitizing equipment, cleaning surfaces, and taking inventory.
·Maintains a clean work area, including washing equipment, putting away supplies, utensils, and other equipment.
·Follows all company safety procedures, including following food handling guidelines.
·Performs other duties as assigned or necessary by your supervisor or owner.

Qualifications:

Positive attitude + excited about learning (most important)

Experience in customer service is a bonus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Knowledge of food safety and health regulations is preferred

Ability to handle money accurately

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 per hour
