L Mapps Ltd Hiring for Finance Analyst Job at Burgess Hill, England Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Finance with financial operations for the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

· General accounting tasks, including raising sales invoices and data entry using Sage accounting software.

· Undertaking various analysis of monthly and quarterly results and forecasts, obtaining explanations for required variances.

· Analysis of hours from timekeeping system and continuous reconciling of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Ad hoc assistance to the Head of Finance when required.

· Provide relief cover for the Financial Accountant and Finance Assistant as required on tasks such as internal controls testing and employee expenses.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping and experience of accounts preparation.

· PC skills – Excel (essential), SAGE (desirable).

· Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at all levels.

· Works in a structured and methodical manner, deadline oriented.

· Pro-active self-starter.

Due to this being based on-site, you must be local to Burgess Hill.
