Kurt Manufacturing Hiring for Corporate Sales Director at Minneapolis, MN Full Time

The Corporate Sales Director is responsible for overseeing the contract manufacturing sales and development activities for Machining and Die Casting services directly to OEM’s within industries such as Military and Defense, Aerospace, Semiconductor, Energy, Recreational, Agriculture, Consumer product and Industrial Application companies.

Essential Functions

• Develop recommendations for sales expansion and identify opportunities for growth within key target industries.
• Oversee implementation of sales and business objectives developed for contract manufacturing divisions.
• Create proposals and find solutions to satisfy customer issues or problems.
• Be the key point of contact for large existing customers.
• Manage sales team to achieve established goals by ensuring specific individual goals are met.
• Oversee all contract mfg. leads and manages a network internal and external sales representatives for follow-up to create opportunities.
• Present data on sales activity and status of sales efforts for contract divisions to executive management monthly.
• Work with the Marketing Department to develop strategies.
• Travel to current and prospective customers to maintain and establish relationships.

Required

• 10+ years’ experience selling contract Machining; Die Cast services a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Technical experience, including an understanding of engineering and ability to read and understand blueprints and customer requirements.
• Experience working with an outside sales representative team.
• Strong motivation, leadership, and communication and negotiation skills
• Travel up to 30%. And must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience using digital tools and software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite); strong PowerPoint experience required
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
