We are looking for an enthusiastic young professional to join our team as a Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant will join us at the start of their finance career with a view to getting experience in the workings of an international organisation. This is a role with exposure to multiple different elements in a finance team whilst providing an opportunity to take ownership of certain tasks and projects.

We are ideally looking for someone who has started their qualification journey in finance (such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA/AAT) and is interested and committed to a career in the field.

Key Aspects of Role:

• Processing customer credits and charges
• Processing company credit card expenses and reconciliations
• Processing weekly personal expense claims
• Calculating and recording monthly cost of sales transactions
• Intercompany invoicing
• Responsibility for monitoring email inboxes and responding to queries
• Analysis of stock levels, usage and costing to monitor variances and improve efficiencies.
• Maintaining, updating, and reviewing company customer data
• Reviewing and generating customer invoices and statements monthly
• Customer payment management using direct debit, BACS etc and updating payment records

Skills, qualifications, and experience required:

Studying towards a qualification in accountancy such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
At least one year’s experience of working in similar roles
Experience with accounting software (ideally MS Dynamics AX)
Attained a minimum of Grade B at GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent.
Expertise with the full range of Microsoft office packages.
